It features ten events that include skiing, curling, bobsledding, and figure skating, among other things. The gameplay for each competition is unique, but all of them have very similar controls. The fate of these events will be decided by the player’s ability to correctly hit the needed buttons at the appropriate times and timing. There are four distinct game modes, including Championship and Head-to-Head, both of which allow two players to compete against each other. The championship is one game mode that lets the player participate in a series of events to earn the desired gold medal, and Head-to-Head is the other game option. It also includes the ESPN license, which contributes to the overall sense of realism by providing a television-style display and commentators who offer commentary throughout the play.
